Every once in a while a design emerges in the boating world that sets a new standard for excellence. So it was when Zack Taylor set out to design his idea of the perfect duck boat. Zack Taylor has a great deal of waterfowling knowledge, and his love for boating and sailing earned him a long career with Sports Afield magazine as Boating Editor. During his tenure there, Zack set out to design the most versatile waterfowling craft that he could imagine. The hull is a marriage between a true displacement hull and a planing hull. Equipped with a fiberglass hatch cover, removable spray shield, removable motor mount, removable bungee grassing system, removable decoy rack, folding oar locks, and a backrest that doubles as a seat when spanned across the cockpit coaming. MLB field testers have hunted this boat in 4-foot seas with confidence. Designed after the Barnegat Bay Sneakbox, this boat was expected to carry sportsmen and their gear to remote locations and back. It can still get into the backwaters and flooded fields preferred by many waterfowlers as well. Many happy hours have been spent fishing from this boat also. It really is a very versatile craft.
